The Film

Hip-hop icon, cannabis empire mogul, and world-class bastard BUDDHA NOIR is found dead at the anniversary party of a luxury weed lounge — or so it seems...

HANNAH BERNHARDT and her best bud MELANIE "MEL" GIBSON (no relation) reunite at RIPE Café where the celebrity was last seen arguing with his manager HERB ROLLENBERG. Tapping into her extrasensory stoner superpower, Hannah zeroes in on the manager and launches into an intense interrogation. But Mel, uneasy with her aggressive tactics, backs out.

A 10-minute short-film proof-of-concept has been produced, demonstrating the visual world, tone, lead character, and comedic noir vibe of the series.
